The Kawasaki ZX-14 Ninja: Review

Uncategorized

Kawasaki-Ninja-ZX-14“Ever been curious about finding out what it feels like to be strapped on the outside of a rocket? Have a ride on this monster!”

Introduced in early 2006, the ZX-14 was made take the crown of the fastest street legal bike back from the Suzuki Hayabussa. Not only did it leave the Hayabussa choking on its burnt rubber smoke with amazing ease, the big Ninja proved to be a smoother, more polished road burner.
To keep the crown in the Kawasaki, the Team K engineers produced the ’08 ZX-14 to produce more power while meeting stringent Euro 3 emissions standards. The end result was powered by a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four valve per cylinder, inline-four 1.6L engine which produced a mammoth torque of 154 N/m (15.7 kgf/m) 113.5 lb-ft at 7,500 rpm (that’s 190 BHP!) coupled with a 6-Speed transmission that enables the ZX-14 to do 0 to 100 Km/h in 2.5 seconds flat! The faster this monster goes, the more powerful it gets thanks to ram-air induction at thigh speeds which is still electronically limited to a whopping186 MILES per hour! ZX-14’s looks match its performance – absolutely stunning!
This particular Ninja happens to be owned by one of our very own speed demon, Usman khan, who, also, happens to hold the unofficial title of The Fastest Biker in Pakistan. He’s held this title for over a decade now, and even beat Suzuki Hayabussa with his modified Suzuki GSX-R1100!
