To Fathom Me.

Oldie but goldie, Poetry

To fathom me

You need to get under my skin,

You need to touch my fiery soul

And feel me within.

You need to have faith in the fire,

The burning soul you see within me,

And quench yourself in that fire

To feel me.

And when the world shuns you,

And your heart wishes to fade,

For it feels cloyed and jaded,

Think of the journeys you, once, made.

Think of the star, the moon, the night,

Think of the soothing sounds of the twilight,

Think of the fire, play its symphony

And then, you’ll fathom me.
